About me:  

My name is Oana Maria Stoica, I was born on 28 of June 1986 in Iasi, Romania. 

I only started singing at about 20 years old, and two guys from a Romanian rock band watched me perform in a karaoke punk bar in Bucuresti. I was having fun more than singing well, because I was trying to imitate all those great, famous rock stars. They called me because they thought I was funny. Anway, I started working with them and in short time there were major changes and I was invited to be the lead vocalist. I couldn’t believe it. After a year, Matei joined our band, and so we performed together for another year. I started noticing that Matei and I have similar taste in music and as we both wanted something more agressive  we started working at some parts. Eventually we spoke with the guys in the band and agreed to go separate ways.

I am so happy that as we all love music so much, we are still friends. 



Music: 

I like Dream Theater, Rush, Muse, Anouk, Guano Apes, Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Steve Vai (Tender Surrender), Paul Gilbert (Scarified).

Classical music: Shubert, Prokofiev, Debussy, and many. 

 I like:   
Beside singing all day, I like also theatre, good films, ballet, books, the seaside and the mountains in equal measure.
It is special for me when I visit my mom, dad and my brother.  

I'd like to meet:    
As many people as I can, because usually I make friends very easily. 
 
Movies: 
Man On The Moon, Trainspotting, The Painted Veil, Big Fish, Blow, Moulin Rouge.
Robin Williams, Edward Norton, Jim Carey, Ewan McGregor, Charlize Theron movies.

 
Mass-Media: 
I don't wach TV, I don't read magazines or papers - don't have time to listen to the radio.
If I have a few hours I like to read, watch a movie or meet with friends.

Books:  
Man And The Sea - Ernest Hemingway.    
 

Heroes: 
Jesus Christ, My mother, My brother and My father and all the people that work for justice, faith and peace.  

Man of my dreams: 
A careful, understanding, funny, smart, loving guy, with faith in his heart. (I’ve kissed a lot of frogs.)
