About me:
I was born on 30th of August 1981 in Orsova, Romania.
I started playing piano at the age of 10, then, when I was 13
I joined a local band, playing keyboards. Two years later, we
were performing to every high school event that occurred in
the region. When I was 19, our bass player decided to leave
the band so I offered to take his place playing the bass.
I started studying this instrument which was something new
for me, and after about two years I fell in love with it.
I went to college and I met Johann Hentz, a sensational
bass player from Germany, who offered me free lessons.
So I started studying hard and performing with every
band that needed me. After finishing college,
I moved to Cluj-Napoca as bass player for SEVEN.
| Between 2003 and 2007 I performed with SEVEN and
had even opening acts for foreign bands as Crematory or Evergrey. I left the band to become sales manager for a music shop in Timisoara. I still work for this company but I moved to Bucharest where I met HIGHLIGHT KENOSIS, a project that got my attention. I enjoyed the tunes they were playing from the begining, so I decided to join them. Music & Artists (that inspired me): Dream Theater, Rush, Yes, King Crimson, Porcupine Tree, Pink Floyd, Rage, RHCP, Marcus Miller, John Patitucci, Victor Wooten, Lee Ritenour, Melvin Davis, Jaco Pastorius... and everything that sounds decent!
Movies: Troy, Gladiator, Brave Heart, What Women Want (because I care!), A Beautiful Mind, and a lot more than I can remember right now!
Heroes: My mother wich is also my best friend!
Woman of my dreams: I never really thought about that, because I like all the women!
See you soon! |
